Finding the Right School for You
EUREKA.org is very comprehensive. In addition to our three career assessment tools, we include five career/occupations databases, four educationally related databases and two complementary databases.
Following are the educationally related databases we have on EUREKA.org:
College Majors/Training Programs: There are more than 150 college majors and training programs described on EUREKA.org. These descriptions include related programs, and recommended high school courses. There is also a way to link schools to the programs offered. Colleges and Universities: This database includes more than 3,000 four year colleges and universities located throughout the United States; and includes approximately 300 international institutions. Short Term Training: This database includes more than 700 schools or colleges that offer training from the diploma/certificate level through the associate's degree. These schools are located throughout the United States. Financial Aid Guide: This database includes all of the basic financial aid information, as well as links to state and national websites. In addition links to free sources of scholarship information is also provided.
Complementary Databases:
Job Search: This database offers you a detailed review of the entire job search process, including resume templates; and ideas regarding getting interviews, and doing informational interviews. Self-Employment: This database offers insights into the process of owning your own business in a detailed topical database. If you have questions regarding if this may be the best way for you to earn a living, check out this database.
