This is the first time that the EUREKA Career Information System has been made available on the Internet. Historically, we have only delivered our information to Californians, and have offered only a hard drive software application. Now, we are merging into a brand new lane of the information highway. This endeavor will allow EUREKA to reach career seekers who are currently unafilliated with a school or career organization, while giving current EUREKA users the option to use EUREKA in the convenience of their own home via the Internet.
The process of bringing the software application to the Internet will happen gradually, but be assured, the entire software application will be available online in the near future.
Currently our online offerings include:
True Colors: True Colors is a personality-based self-assessment that is fun to use, yet extremely insightful. After using True Colors, you will never see people in shades of black and white again. They will become shades of blue, green, orange and gold. True Colors, a truly mind opening experience! MicroSkills: MicroSkills enables you to view yourself from a transferable skills or talent perspective. All of us are born with talents. Some of us discover our talents at a very early age; others of us may search for our unique talents or skills for a lifetime. MicroSkills can assist you in finding the unique talents or skills that you possess, and help you to visualize how those skills or talents can be used in a career or occupation. Occupational Descriptions: EUREKA's database of occupational descriptions gives you detailed information on hundreds of careers and jobs all over the country. - Programs of Study: We offer detailed descriptions of programs of study and majors offered at colleges and universities worldwide.

Job Search: This section of the site will be on-line during the fall of this year. It will include a detailed overview of the job search process, and a comprehensive section on resumes, incuding electronic ones Occ-U-Sort (Spanish and English): Occ-U-Sort is a self-assessment strategy tool that allows you to determine what labor market tasks you would like to have in a career. Career Paths: Link occupations to academic disciplines, and learn to prepare for a career while still in high school. Career Paths also enables a young person to better see the impact that school subjects have on future opportunities. CrossWalks: Find links from most of the Standard Career Assessment tests to EUREKA's detailed and popular occupational descriptions.
