A Job Seeker's Response

Please review the following testimonial.we think it clearly shows how EUREKA can help you. A user sent us a copy of an email that was sent to a group that provides volunteer assistance for unemployed members of their community.

Well folks, now that I've been using the EUREKA application for a few days, I think I can finally say I had an epiphany!

It came this afternoon. I had just finished listening to John McDorman's tape, 'How to Find Your Future Focus'. I checked my email and got two .pdf's from Bob Grosso, Eureka's Director of Sales and Marketing. One is titled, "How to Interpret MicroSkills" and the other is, "MicroSkills Resumes.". I went back to the data from my analysis and went through the reports for Related Skill Comparisons. I'd suggest you bring it up and select print all. It's about 10 pages, but boy was it worth it for me.
Combined with my "color" analysis from the web site - BTW, I read mine to my wife last evening and she thinks it's right on the mark, the Related Skills Comparisons report gave me an assessment of five selected occupations/titles, how closely I scored in my personal MicroSkills assessment in comparison to the occupation's scoring: the Very/Most/ Somewhat sorting from the skills deck. It also gave me a bar graph for each occupation.
The outcome is that I really think I can focus all my career hunting efforts in a single direction. Armed with this better understanding of myself, likes/dislikes and various work and career traits, I can now fine-tune my resume, cover letter and various positioning statements into a single unified position statement. Additionally, when asked in an interview why I feel suited for the position, I have critical data and real life work examples.
